Mark has 25+ years experience in banking and financial institutions both in New Zealand and UK working for BNZ, Marac Finance, ABN Amro Bank (UK), Bank of Brussels (UK), CIT Group, HSBC NZ and Heartland Bank. Most recently holding the position of National Manager Strategic Partnerships for Heartland Bank, which included the establishment and senior oversight for both HINO Finance and UD Trucks Finance nationwide.

Mark has also owned and operated his own bulk (food) commodities trading business, with offices in NZ, Vietnam and UK. Mark keeps well networked within multiple industries throughout NZ. He is also currently an Executive Board member of the NZ Trucking Association.

Benjy Shrosbree

Benjy has 30+ years experience in the financial sector spanning private and public organizations across New Zealand, Qatar, South Africa, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, and even Afghanistan and Syria.

Of late, he was appointed by the State of Qatar to do the first Annual Review of the newly established Tax Authority and propose the way forward to ensure voluntarily compliance for the authorities clients. Benjy was the Operations Manager of a multinational group of companies in South Africa and was additionally appointed by the Company as the Managing Director of five financial services companies under the umbrella of the group.

Benjy also has experience working for Inland Revenue New Zealand, he led the following teams in Wellington – Agent Account Managers, Business Services and the Business Tax Information division. Benjy is a tax expert and is currently an Adjunct Lecturer for Charles Sturt University Australia. Benjy lectures and drafts training material for the university on an ad hoc basis.

Accumulating over forty years in banking, financial services serving both the commercial property sector in long term investment and development as well as asset finance, Ian has acquired a vast and diverse amount of experience with all aspects of finance, now with a renewed focus on commercial asset finance with Spartan Finance.

Ian is married with two grown up children and four grandchildren. He enjoys motorcycle touring, and cycling. Ian also holds his Class 2 & 4 heavy vehicle licences. Living predominantly in Auckland Ian also has an office in Otago.
